Joey de Leon resigned from Manila Bulletin since it is the sister company of Balita. A column by Dindo Bellares in Balita‘s July 29 issue said that Eat Bulaga!‘s show in L.A. was a flop. Joey did not like the article since it was a lie according to him. Dindo also revealed that a GMA-7 executive was the one who told him about the flop. This statement placed Joey’s anger to a higher level. He now wants to know the identity of that GMA-7 executive. In exchange for that information, he will give Dindo two airplane tickets to US, may it be first-class or business-class, in any hotels in America for a week and five thousand dollars pocket money if he will reveal that person’s identity. Joey also told the world that if he sees Dindo in GMA-7 territory, he will resign from GMA-7 as well.

Joey emphasized that he hates liars and cheaters.
