Slaughter houses should always be forced to follow the guidelines and restrictions placed on them by the government. Workers should also be severely punished, or even fired for going beyond the boundries of the regulations. If I were able to, I would avoid eating meat. I love chicken too much. I was horrified when I found out a large slaughter house was mistreating the chickens. Another issue that disturbs me is animal abuse.. I've heard that some people don't use the electricity prod thing properly so the animals would wake up after being slit in the throat and had to wait as they bleed to their death...
